Celebrating 16 Years of Strength, Purpose, Growth, and Impact

Sixteen years ago, in June 2010, I registered my small business and officially began my journey as an entrepreneur.

At the time, my business was called DP Fitness & Wellness.

Looking back, I wasn’t entirely sure what my business would become. What I did know was that I wanted to help people live healthier, stronger lives.  I kept coming back to the idea of family fitness, although I couldn’t fully explain what that meant at the time.

Sometimes the vision comes before the details.

As my business grew, so did my understanding of what family fitness could look like.

Fueled by my passion for triathlon, I created the Trimonsters.

Suddenly, family fitness became more than an idea. It became kids crossing finish lines with huge smiles, moms discovering strength they didn’t know they had, dads taking on new challenges, and families training, racing, and celebrating together.

It wasn’t really about triathlon.

It was about confidence.

It was about community.

It was about helping people discover they were capable of more than they imagined.

Over the years, I continued learning, coaching, and growing—not only as a fitness professional but as a business owner, a mother, a grandmother, a woman.

Then in 2020, I made a decision that reflected how much my work had evolved.

I rebranded my business as Deb Peters Coaching.

The new name wasn’t simply a logo change.

It was an acknowledgment that my mission had expanded.

While fitness remains an important part of what I do, I realized that the women I serve need far more than workout plans and nutrition advice.

The women I work with are entrepreneurs, business owners, leaders, mothers, and grandmothers.

They are building companies.

Supporting families.

Leading teams.

Creating impact in their communities.

And often, they are doing all of this while navigating the unique challenges that come with being women over 50.

Today, my work is focused on helping these women build strong bodies, resilient minds, healthy habits, and the confidence to fully step into the next chapter of their lives.

Because strength isn’t just about how much weight you can lift.

Strength is having the energy to show up for your family.

Strength is having the confidence to lead your business.

Strength is being able to travel, explore, and embrace new adventures.

Strength is maintaining your independence and continuing to do the things you love.

Yesterday, while exploring Suwon with my family, I found myself helping carry my granddaughter’s stroller up dozens of stairs.

It wasn’t a race.

There was no medal waiting at the top.

But it reminded me why strength matters.

The strongest women I know aren’t chasing perfection.

They’re building lives they can fully participate in.

They’re creating memories with their families.

They’re leading businesses with confidence.

They’re showing the next generation what healthy aging can look like.

As I celebrate 16 years in business, I realize that while my logo has changed and my services have evolved, the heart of my work has remained the same.

I’ve always wanted to help people become stronger.

Today, that strength looks different than I imagined in 2010.

It’s not just fitness anymore.

It’s empowering women.

It’s strengthening families.

It’s changing lives.

To every client, supporter, friend, family member, and cheerleader who has been part of this journey—thank you.

Your trust, encouragement, and belief have helped shape not only this business but also the impact it has had over the past sixteen years.

The story is still being written.
