I don't need another finish line
My life has had a lot of chapters.
In my 20s, I became a mom to three kids.
In my 30s, I became a single mom and entered the corporate world, building a career so I could provide for my family.
In my 40s, I realized I'd become successful in a life that no longer felt like mine. So, I walked away from the corporate world and began building something completely different — personally and professionally — around health and fitness.
In my 50s, I started asking my body to do things I once would have thought impossible. Triathlons. Obstacle course races. Big physical challenges. And at 59, I crossed an Ironman finish line.
Now I'm halfway through my 60s.
And something has shifted again.
I don't need another finish line to prove that I'm strong.
I want to be strong for my life.
I'm a mom. I'm Grammy to seven. I want to travel, hike, explore, be present with my grandkids and keep saying yes to things that haven't even occurred to me yet.
My youngest granddaughter is still a baby. When she's 16, I'll be 80.
I want to be there for that adventure.
So, this decade — and the ones that follow — are about becoming a Strong Grammy.
Not because I'm afraid of getting older.
Because I'm excited about what is still ahead.
I've learned that we get to keep deciding who we want to become. And the decisions we make today have a lot to do with the life we'll be capable of living tomorrow.
That's why I train.
That's why I coach.
And that's why I believe so deeply in building a legacy of strength.
My strongest years aren't behind me.
And I don't believe yours have to be either.
If you're working toward training to be stronger, start now and book a call with me today.
