Feeling the effects of time in the form of pain is inevitable as we journey through life.
You can get older, have pain and be weak, or you can get older, have pain and be STRONG. The way we choose to confront and deal with this pain is entirely up to us.
The choice is ours.
What story will you tell yourself?
Strength Training: A path to longevity
For countless years, I've witnessed the power of incorporating resistance and strength training into people's lives. This seemingly simple addition to your weekly routine can work wonders not only for your physical health but also for your overall well-being.
By engaging in strength training, you're not just building muscles; you're nurturing your cardiovascular health, reducing the risk of chronic diseases such as cancer, enhancing bone health, shifting your body composition, and most importantly, elevating the quality of your life.
Frail doesn't have to be in your vocabulary
It's time to shatter the misconception that your body is fragile. Stop feeding yourself that narrative. Your body is more resilient and adaptable than you give it credit for. The ability to build muscle isn’t confined to a specific age bracket – it's a gift you can unwrap at any stage of life. We all know at least one person that we would describe as frail. Let's work so that you are not that person.
Many of my clients, over the age of 60, with some well into their 70's, are evidence of the remarkable progress one can achieve by lifting weights, despite the numbers etched in their birth certificates. These individuals are defying stereotypes and showcasing that strength knows no limits when it comes to age.
The Journey Ahead
Regardless of your body's current state, I am here to tell you with unwavering certainty that we can build a stronger, healthier version of you in the coming year. It's time to kick your limitations to the curb and embrace a future filled with possibilities – a future where strength and vitality are the words used to describe you.
Let’s rewrite the narrative of aging.
Your story is still being written, the pen is in your hand, the next chapter:
STRENGTH!
So, are you ready to take the first step towards a stronger, healthier you?
Let's do this together, and remember, the choice is ultimately yours.
"Your body is not fragile, stop telling yourself that story. Let's go!!" Deb
Now accepting new clients, male and female, of all ages.
